Jets’ Clemens was upset he got no shot as No. 2 QB
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP)—Kellen Clemens(notes) entered training camp thinking he had a shot at being the New York Jets’ backup quarterback.
It turned out Mark Brunell(notes) won the spot before the competition even began, something that took Clemens a little while to get over.
“Four or five days, and it showed in my play,” Clemens said Monday. “I went to the nfl jerseys

Hunter, Hamilton lead Rangers past A’s 7-3
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—Josh Hamilton(notes) helped keep Tommy Hunter’s(notes) success going at home.
Hamilton had his major league-high 24th three-hit game of the season, Hunter pitched into the eighth inning and the AL West-leading Rangers pulled farther away from the Athletics with nfl jerseys a 7-3 victory over Oakland on Friday night.

Hamilton also made a tough, running catch on the warning track in left field of Ellis’ drive in the ninth. Hamilton smacked into the padded wall after tracking down the ball and emerged with a big smile on his face.
“I can’t say enough about what Hamilton did tonight, his skills were on display again,” Rangers manager Ron Washington said. “That ninth inning, what Hamilton did, it saved it there. Because if that ball falls, no telling what could happen and we may not have been able to get out of it.”
The catch was also Hamilton’s favorite play of Packers jersey the night.

After giving the Brewers an 8-7 victory Saturday night with an 11th-inning single, Cain took a little ribbing in the clubhouse.

Store owner sentenced in counterfeit Nikes case
A Milwaukee store owner who admitted selling counterfeit Nike shoes and designer clothes was sentenced Thursday to six months in prison.
Oumar Tall, 38, ran Golden Fashion, 6013 N. Teutonia Ave. And according to federal court records, he was on probation from a counterfeit goods nfl jerseys conviction in Missouri when he sold more fakes to an informant and an undercover Milwaukee police officer in December and January. He was charged in March and pleaded guilty in May to attempted intentional trafficking in counterfeit goods.
U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman noted at sentencing that Tall, who immigrated to the United States from Mauritania in 1998, has had no other run-ins with the law, no involvement with drugs or violence, and has given helpful information to authorities investigating the counterfeit clothing trade.
Tall has been jailed since his arrest in March, so he nfl football jerseys will likely be freed in about two weeks, though Adelman noted Tall could have his Missouri probation revoked or face immigration proceedings.
